“IT people can be quite possessive over data and data systems – they try to guard access,” LUSH head of reporting and data services Scott Silverthorn told Computer Weekly. “I understand you don’t want people tinkering in the database, but if you can extract that data into a beautiful reporting system like QlikView, why wouldn’t you share that with everyone?”
QlikView has been initially deployed through Qlik Partner QGate Software across LUSH in the UK, expanding across Europe and the entire organisation. Rowland Dexter, Managing Director of QGate, says: “This is a great example of where QGate has enabled a company to become self-sufficient in QlikView.
