Issue
When removing Infor CRM (Saleslogix) components to allow for a clean re-install, removing Sage* folders are referenced. Due diligence is required if you have other Sage products installed, to ensure you only remove the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) related folders.
Details
To completely remove the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) components you need to complete the following steps:
1) Go to Control Panel → Programs and Features
2) Uninstall all Infor CRM (Saleslogix) components (eg. Admin Tools and Servers, Client OLE DB Provider etc.)
3) Once all Infor CRM (Saleslogix) components are uninstalled go to C:/Program Files (x86) (on a 64-bit machine) or C:/Program Files (on a 32-bit machine) and delete the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) folder.
4) Go to Program Data and delete the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) and Sage folders.
5) Delete the following registry entries for a 64-bit machine:
- HKEY_Current_UserSoftwareSaleslogix
- HKEY_Local_MachineSoftwareWow6432NodeSaleslogix
Delete the following registry entries for a 32-bit Machine:
- HKEY_Current_UserSoftwareSaleslogix
- HKEY_Local_MachineSoftwareSaleslogix
6) Once this is completed restart the machine.
7) Re-install the required Infor CRM (Saleslogix) components using the installation guide for your relevant version. You will also need to re-apply any service packs and hotfix updates.
