Alignment isn't Automatic | QGate

Most organisations are full of capable people working hard towards clearly defined targets.

The difficulty begins when those targets aren’t pointing in the same direction. Sales optimise for revenue, operations for efficiency, marketing for volume, and leadership for growth. Each decision makes sense in isolation. Taken together, they don’t always compound.

That misalignment rarely shows up as a crisis. It shows up as slower progress than expected and momentum that feels harder to sustain.

Alignment doesn’t happen by assumption. It requires deliberate design and clear choices about what really matters.
